Profoto's collapsible reflectors are probably the most straightforward light modifiers. They are easy to use, easy to carry and can reflect or diffuse both ambient and flash light. The sturdy and foldable metal frame is equipped with two ergonomically designed handles, making the reflectors easy to fold and easy to hold in different positions.

The white coating reflects the light in the most natural way, making this reflector the most popular and also a great light modifier to get started with. It creates a soft, natural light that is ideal for outdoor portraits in strong sunlight or for shooting with flash in the studio. To get the best results from the white reflector, place it relatively close to your subject.

The metallic silver coating increases light output, creates stronger contrast and provides crisper colors. It is ideal for low-light shooting or when you need a stronger light. Note that silver gives off quite an intense light in strong midday sun, so you should either place the reflector a little further away, position it indirectly, or simply use the white side.
