The HENSEL Expert D 1000 is a professional-grade studio flash unit with a wide range of features and capabilities. It offers a large power control range of 8 f-stops in 1/10th steps, fast flash recycling times of 0.21s to 1s, and ultra-short flash durations of 1/1300s to 1/3000s, as well as a bright 300W modeling light.
The Expert D 1000 also comes equipped with wireless sync and remote control capabilities, as well as Hensel's freemask feature for easy and precise subject isolation. The new Hensel WiFi Remote feature allows for even more convenience and control. The unit boasts high color temperature and power stability, with a high load capacity for the electronics and flash tube.
The Expert D 1000 can operate independently from mains power when combined with the optional Power Max L accessory. The power control is achieved through a combination of capacitor switching and voltage regulation.
The EH-quick change system offers a wide range of compatible light modifiers for use in the studio or on location, making it ideal for dynamic portrait and people photography, as well as product and industrial photography.
The compact and removable swivel mount with integrated umbrella holder can be attached to the top or bottom of the unit for maximum flexibility, particularly when using it in ceiling rail systems. The Expert D 1000 is housed in a sturdy yet lightweight metal casing, and is proudly made in Germany.
