With the ELC Pro HD 500 compact flash unit, Elinchrom has what is probably the best-equipped flash head on the market.
It has many useful features, which is the result of over 25 years of experience in the development of high-quality studio flash technology.
3 creative shooting modes - Strobo mode with up to 20 Hz - Delayed mode with a trigger delay of between 0.001 and 10 seconds - Sequence mode allows
the continuous triggering of up to 20 ELC's lightning-fast charging times of 1.2 seconds at full power.
Unique OLED display with easy-to-read information The three shooting modes open up new creative perspectives when working with the ELC compact flash units.
The sequence mode allows up to 20 ELCs to be fired in quick succession or in continuous operation to take advantage of the camera's high frame rate. The delayed mode offers synchronization to the first or second shutter curtain and everything in between.
In addition, predictive synchronization is available during short sequences. The strobe mode enables images with stroboscopic effects within a single shot.
The fast loading times (1.2 seconds at full power) and the short burn times to freeze even the fastest movements are particularly noteworthy.
All this thanks to Swiss precision with every release with constant power output and consistent color temperature.
The ELC compact flash units are the first of their kind to have an OLED display. In addition to the usual power scale, the power in joules,
the flash duration and many other settings can now be read directly. A jog wheel enables easy navigation through the user-friendly operating menu.
This set includes the new EL-Skyport Transmitter Plus. A strong and robust design combined with powerful technology enables every photographer to trigger flashes at a distance of up to 200m. The transmitter is powered by conventional AA batteries.
