The HENSEL Expert D 500 is a professional flash unit with a large control range of 8 f-stops in 1/10 increments. It offers a fast flash rate of 0.11s to 0.5s (corresponding to 9-2 frames/second) and ultra-short flash times of 1/2000s to 1/5600s. The flash unit has a bright 300W modeling light and a short flash duration of 1/5600s with a power range of 145-64Ws.
In addition, the HENSEL Expert D 500 is equipped with radio synchronization and remote control as well as freemask (cut out in perfect quality, already during the recording) and a built-in WiFi remote system. The flash unit offers high color temperature and power stability as well as a high load reserve for electronics and flash tubes.
The flash unit can also be operated independently of the mains when combined with the optional Power Max L accessory. The power is regulated via capacitance switching and voltage regulation. The HENSEL Expert D 500 is compatible with the extensive range of light shapers for the EH quick-change system, which enables flexible use in the studio or for outdoor shoots.
A sliding and detachable, compact tilt head with integrated umbrella holder can be attached to the top or bottom of the Expert D, allowing maximum flexibility e.g. when used in ceiling track systems. The HENSEL Expert D 500 is housed in a stable yet light metal housing and is consistently "Made in Germany".
