With the compact flash MBX 500 (with / without Hot Sync function), Priolite has created a sensation in the world of photographers in recent years. However, many photographers have always wanted to get the performance of these devices in a more compact package. Priolite responded to this request by releasing its latest innovation in September 2016: the MBX 500 Hot Sync ULTRA has the same performance as its direct predecessor model (500 watt seconds and of course shutter speeds up to 1/8000 sec), but all in a shorter and shorter 11 cm 700g lighter case and with the new ULTRA battery 300 flashes at full power with one battery charge possible.
The massive reflector mechanism accommodates accessories from Priolite, Bowens-S Line and many Hensel reflectors without an external adapter. Except for the handle area, the device is made of solid metal. The support rail consists of aluminum continuous casting, the reflector mechanism of die-cast aluminum. The extra-strong tilting head allows tilting and rotation of the device and provides secure hold over cast plates even with heavy attachments. The LED modeling light gives bright light with special protection of the battery.
