The Profoto B1X off-camera flash is the successor to the award-winning Profoto B1. The B1X is not a couch potato. It is aimed at adventurous photographers who like to be in the middle of the action. The portable B1X is wireless and battery-operated for maximum freedom of movement and flexibility. After all, you won't find too many power outlets in the desert or on the mountain top. With the special system of extremely lightweight OCF light shapers, which are designed for high mobility and easy operation, the B1X makes it easy for you to shape the light wherever you are.

With its automatic TTL mode, it shines especially in difficult lighting conditions. HSS ensures that you remain in control of your lighting design even in broad daylight. • Take photos in AirTTL or manual mode and establish a wireless connection to other AirTTL flashes.
• Wireless operation and radio control allow you to take photos without restrictions.
• With 500 Ws over a control range of 9 f-stops in 1/10 steps, it offers 10 times more power than a conventional flash attachment.
• The Li-Ion battery is enough for up to 325 flashes at full power and several tens of thousands at the lowest power. It can be changed and charged in no time at all if required.
• Creates flash sequences of up to 20 flashes per second with flash durations of up to 1/19,000 s and short flash durations of 0.05 to 1.9 s.
• Control the ambient light with HSS and create razor-sharp images without motion blur at shutter speeds of up to 1/8,000 s.
