The Pro-D3 is our first compact flash for industrial use,
designed for excellent performance and tireless use in the most demanding high-throughput production environments.
With a flash output of 750 Ws or 1250 Ws and a maximum flash recycling time of just 0.01 seconds, the Pro-D3 delivers a high flash frequency for hours, making it ideal for extensive shoots. The three flash modes reflect the high level of flexibility for your creative and economic decisions. To extend the life of the device and for high color consistency, the standard flash mode (ECO) should be selected.
If you need a little more power, switch to Boost mode; to eliminate motion blur, use Freeze mode, the shortest flash duration available to date.
The Pro-D3 also features a very energy-efficient LED modeling light. It shines brighter than a 400-watt halogen lamp - using only 15% of the power. This not only saves energy costs, but also keeps the light shapers cool and extends their lifespan. In addition, the modeling light offers a fixed, daylight-adjusted color temperature and diffuses the light like a flash so that the light is presented authentically in the final shot.
Choose between full flash power or accent light. The 11 f-stops, which can be adjusted with an accuracy of 0.1 f-stop, take care of the nuances. For seamless synchronization between devices, the Pro-D3 is equipped with Profoto's latest user interface and AirX technology, which ensures a smooth workflow.
