Modeling light adapter for Firefly II softboxes & video light

The Aurora Firefly II softboxes are the ideal solution for softening the hard and unflattering light of conventional system flash units. They are available as octaboxes with diameters of 50 cm and 65 cm and as softboxes with dimensions of 25x60 cm and 50x50 cm.

Thanks to the quick and easy assembly and the low weight, these light shapers are simply ideal for mobile use. The integrated tripod mount also functions as a handle and allows flexible use.

Many dedicated amateurs and professionals use the Aurora Firefly II to brighten up outdoor shots, as a harmonious light source for portrait and wedding shots, but also for quick product photos.

Now the South Korean manufacturer Aurora Lite Bank is introducing the C LUX, a versatile modeling light adapter that is mounted inside the Firefly II softboxes instead of the deflector and makes it easier to assess the lighting thanks to its bright 10W LED modeling light, which offers approximately the brightness of a conventional 100W lamp.

Thanks to its round construction and diameter of 11cm, the new
C LUX also takes on the function of the deflector and can be used either directly or indirectly with the included accessories.

A removable diffuser allows the light distribution and light intensity to be changed. The integrated lithium battery allows an operating time of approx. 60 minutes at full power, approx. 120 minutes at half power. The light is charged via a USB mini connection using a standard charger.

Thanks to the built-in attachment foot ("hot shoe") and Œ" thread, the C LUX can also be used as a continuous light source for video recordings to brighten shadows and/or as a catchlight directly on the camera. The low weight of just 156 g makes it easier to take free-hand shots.

With the C LUX, Aurora is introducing a practical addition to the popular Firefly II softboxes and expanding the range of applications for common system flash units.
As this light source can also be used as a handy video light, the C LUX is particularly versatile.
