Aurora umbrellas are made from a specially coated material to prevent color distortion.
There are three basic types available: white, translucent/transparent and silver.
The white umbrellas are well suited for very soft, slightly warm-toned light.
The silver umbrellas offer a harder and yet fairly wide-angle light with high light output.
The translucent transparent umbrellas are relatively soft and have the highest proportion of scattered light overall.
All umbrella poles have a diameter of 8 mm and are therefore compatible with almost all flash heads / devices from other manufacturers.
Optionally, a diffuser cover transforms the umbrella into an affordable and extremely "mobile" softbox because it can be set up and taken down in a flash.
Aurora umbrellas create a soft, "enveloping" illumination that is perfect for portraits with only one light source, among other things.
