The sand bag is filled with sand, gravel, lead balls or similar material and placed on top of a tripod leg. You can fill the bag up to a max. weight of 6 kg. The sand bag keeps the tripod from falling. This is always adviseable when there is a danger of falling either due to persons or the surroundings. The sand bag is made of a very sturdy plastic material and is equipped with a carrying handle as well as a loop for hanging.
